The aim is to develop a philosophical theory of aesthetic habits, drawing on a historical and conceptual investigation of habits and their significance for human agency, while elucidating their role in artistic and aesthetic practices.
This aim will be pursued through literature-based research, conceptual analysis, hypothesis formulation, and theoretical work on the relation between habit, creativity, normativity, and aesthetic experience.

The aim is to situate the theoretical account of aesthetic habits developed in Line A within contemporary psychology and neuroscience, while identifying new avenues for interdisciplinary research.
This will be achieved by empirically investigating key aspects of the framework through experiments on the role of habits formation during action execution and action observation.

The aim is to explore the role of aesthetic habits in elucidating artistic & aesthetic practices, while investigating the contribution that those practices can make for the theoretical-philosophical understanding of aesthetic habits.
The working hypothesis is that the practiceof creativity in specific artistic and aesthetic fields is, on one hand, organized by aesthetic habits s
unique to each domain, but on the other hand, it activates an improvisational meta-habit of responsiveness to situational affordances that makes habits
effective to the extent that they are capable of plastic adaptation.
